The December 31^st Deadline is Approaching

We’ve reached the time of year where, for many of us, our thoughts turn to how we can show our gratitude and love for others in a tangible way. While this certainly includes the joy of gift-giving to family, friends and loved ones, for many it includes putting our charitable giving priorities into action.

We hope William Jewell is among those priorities. If you’re someone who likes to give charitably at the end of the tax year, we hope that prior to January 1, 2010 you will join us in helping to make the Jewell experience ever-better for our students through a gift to the Jewell Fund (or another area of choice). The Cardinal Club enhances the rich athletic traditions at William Jewell College, and is comprised of alumni, parents, and friends who provide financial support to the athletic program, encourage the total development of student-athletes, and promote the mission of the College.

You can make regular contributions via automatic withdrawal from your checking or savings account by completing the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Authorization Agreement and mailing it with a voided check to the address noted above.

Transferring appreciated stock is a great way to provide a charitable gift to William Jewell College while also minimizing income taxes.  Our stock transfer form will help you easily work through the process of transferring shares of stock to William Jewell. 

Retirement Plan Assets

Many people have found that they have sufficient funds for retirement and that they will likely have funds left for distribution to heirs and charitable causes they wish to support.
